Here's how to get there

Here is an interactive map at Yahoo!   You can zoom and all that cool stuff.
Ok, here's how you get there. These are the directions starting in Kansas City because a lot of you are starting there, and for those of you who aren't-- you should at least be able to get yourself this far on your own. First, you want to get on Interstate 435. I 435 basically makes are large circle all the way around the greater Kansas City area. Depending on where you start, which direction you go will be different. The entire loop is 86 miles long, so make sure you are headed toward the top of it (which ever way that may be) because you CAN get there going the other direction, it just might take a while. :) At the very top of the I 435 loop, around the point that you pass the airport 435 will automatically turn into Interstate 29. Regardless of which direction you come from, you will be dumped out on I 29 at Platte City. This is good. I 29 will take you north. When you get to St. Joseph, rejoice- for you are half way there (From Kansas City). After you rejoice, you MAY want to get gas and go to the bathroom... St. Joseph is the last large city until Falls City. Keep your northward travel on I 29 for about another 45 minutes or so past St. Joseph until you reach an exit on the right side of the road (basically out in the middle of nowhere) that is the exit for "Rulo". The exit number is 79. Exit to the right, and at the top of the ramp, turn LEFT. Now you will be on highway 159 towards Rulo. This is a bit windy, and watch out for deer, they are pretty common. You will continue for 10 minutes or so without interruption until you reach the state line between Missouri and Nebraska. To remember where the state line is at, they put a river there to keep track. This is pretty clever if you ask me. Slow down to 25 MPH and cross a bridge barely wide enough for 3 ants to march side-by-side across it. Congratulation! You are now in Rulo- but don't stop there, wind through town without leaving highway 159 and continue out the other side of the town (it's very small, so it won't take too long). About 3 miles out of town you will pass Rachel's Grandma and Grandpa Surman's white house on the left behind a row of trees. As with the custom of old times, blow your horn as you pass. They can hear it-- trust me. :) Seven more miles, and now you have entered Falls City. Yea! Keep going into town until you get to a stop light with a Burger King on the left. Turn RIGHT on this road, which is known to the locals as Harlan. It isn't much to look at, but it is the main drag if you will in Falls City. Follow it for several blocks until you reach 19th street. Turn right on 19th and follow it until you reach Wilson Street. On the right will be the Falls City Church of the Nazarene. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done, and then park so you can unload all of your wedding gifts from the trunk of the car.    :)
